SEEING RED…

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! ‘Tis the season for holiday parties, eating all the sweet things you can take and drinking warm drinks til you tingle inside. Haha!
I received this dress quite some time ago from Eshakti, a site that will make a dress, skirt, pant or item your choice to custom fit you. I don’t wear red often but I really love this dress. It’s not very tight, has pockets and is work appropriate.
A DAY IN THE PARK

I love this blue blazer I purchased at Zara. It’s taken me some time to figure out how I want to wear it since I bought it way too big but now I just belt it and it looks impeccable. It’s been a few weeks but I’m back and ready for the holidays. For me vibrant colors are a must this fall. What are you wearing?

GILT CITY CHICAGO PRESENTS THE GILT CITY FALL 2015 WAREHOUSE SALE

Prepare for the Gilt City Chicago Warehouse Sale by reviewing the following tips and advice to having the best possible experience:
§ Arrive Early: If you’re serious and trust me these deals are serious arrive early!
§ Bring Minimal “Stuff”: Coat check and large bag check are required so bring a small purse or wallet that can hold your credit cards and ID. This is a credit card only event so no cash is accepted for purchases. I recommend a small wallet or cross-body bag that will leave your hands free to peruse the racks and sip cocktails! Don’t wear too much either because it’ll be a hassle to try things on!
§ Think Ahead: I always shop for future seasons. There are literally so many things in my closet with tags waiting for Spring. Keep that in mind when you see something you can’t wear at the moment but know you’ll wear in the next season(s). § And Again Remember – Plastic! No cash, so make sure to bring your debit or credit cards!
THE GREY AREA

Boldly Patterned

You ever purchase something on a whim and feel so happy that you did? For me, this entire outfit is that. This silk blouse and Urban Outfitter skirt are two of my favorite purchases. I’ve had this blouse for some time but the skirt was a recent last minute, “this is cute and I love stripes” purchase. I love it because it’s sexy yet almost modest. “How could this be?” you ask. It’s past my knees, covering yet flaunting my curves. This year, I want to enter fall boldly wrapped in chic patterns, colors and confidence.
The Draping: Fall Coats under $200
that time of the year again! Time to accessorize with an effortlessly fabulous coat, a la Olivia Pope. Living in Chicago, coats are a huge part of my life. There’s nothing better than having a chic coat! I mean, they’re the pre-outfit before the big reveal. Above are some of my favorites silhouettes, lengths and styles all under $200! Chic and inexpensive are always for the win! How are you draping yourself for fall?
