I started Chic In Chocolate in 2014 as a creative outlet. I created a blog in college for a class with 4 friends called, 4 In Fashion. I love it so much that I decided to create my own. Before running Chic In Chocolate, I graduated from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) where I studied the business of fashion. I interned at a small design house and styled for a magazine while in school than went on to fall into a career in digital marketing. In addition to running Chic In Chocolate, I post weekly videos featuring recipes, DIY projects, and other lifestyle content to my YouTube Channel, This Is Fenique.

Outside of these amazing creative spaces, in my spare time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, learning languages, adventure sports, and spending time with my family. I believe in always becoming your best self. Life is short, time is fleeting and there’s so much to learn out there. I try to live like death is chasing me because quite frankly it is.
